Thanks Axiom, your comment saved me time. I was scanning past data to glean where my numbers stood relative to others. Of course it's a low-value exercise since the conditions / location / dyno /etc differ for each of us. I suppose I'm just succumbing to human nature. Sure 55 deg helps, but in FL you have sunshine, bikinis and beaches.....

The math suggested I should expect ~220 whp, while I've been around enough to not be surprised when there's a delta between projections and reality. I hoped to be around 220, and expected to be anywhere between 210 - 220.

I think I need an intervention. Was seriously considering how to transplant an S65 into my E91. 400+ hp would solve our power problems and allow us to remain NA. My advisor suggested it would be less expensive for me to pick-up boat racing as a hobby.

(55 degrees really helped you out I would guess, especially compared to 90* out here in FLA)

Edit: I hear it's a "high" reading Mustang dyno, which some say is only 6-7% off a dynojet. Who cares, power curve looks really good and healthy for the car, especially considering the drivetrain. I hope you're having fun!

Axiom, my torque @ 196 ft-lbs seems a little low in comparison with the hp (222 whp) and other car pulls. Any thoughts on why?

OT, just installed RM throttle body hose in place of the muffled OEM piece. In spite of my cynical nature, it does seem to pull just a little more freely, and there's a subtle 'whooshing' sound under throttle that's new. This one's a no brainer. Now I need to reconsider the performance intake. But it kills me to pay BMW > $800 for the same hp gains as the $60 RM hose. Doh!

Drivetrain loss, transmission type, intake type - etc. All of these could have an effect on the output. I know your car is an AWD auto, but I'm still curious what it would do on a proper dynojet. All that really matters is that the car is quicker and more fun than it was before - if that's true, mission accomplished.

All true. I searched for a 6MT before pulling the trigger on this car. Finally decided it was like hunting for a unicorn, almost non-existent, and moved forward with the auto. Not a day passes where I don't wish for a proper gearbox and one more pedal...

Old dyno from back in 2011 or so, but I think there was an ignition timing issue which caused the car to cut timing, which as you can see - caused a jump in power near the end of the powerband.

TheAxiom, it would be nice to label the graphs that are estimated BHP vs WHP. I looked at that Z4 3.0si and wondered how the hell it put down 254whp stock, then I looked and it's really an estimated BHP value.. and guys like the one below probably can't spot the difference on their own.

What I want to do is make a separate thread of some sort showing the gains for people have done before and afters. When I have time and have had enough rest, I'm burning the candle at both ends....
