I saw it. The entire movie was stupid and filled with annoying defective minor details. Alfred was playing as DiCaprio's dad and Scarecrow was some random corporate head-- couldn't get the Batman stuff out of my mind.

There's also one part where DiCaprio is about to drug Scarecrow in the 747 but he slips in the drug before handing him the drink, even though the flight attendant was CLEARLY in on the plan and could've completely prevented the risk of him seeing it.

So basically, the entire movie is about Christopher Nolan on PCP.

PINeely and WWONG might be more entertained by The Fast and The Furious. I'm with you BlueMan...Chris Nolan got skills. Memento, Batman Begins, Inception might be his best work.

Fast and Furious is for brain-dead kids and/or Honda drivers. Ironically, they're the same thing.

No, I am more entertained by movies that don't blow. Batman Begins was fantastic, but Inception left a lot to be desired. It was so unnecessarily complicated and long that it was impossible for me to enjoy. It had a lot of the same problems that Avatar had for me. Avatar was also visually stunning, but I saw Pocahontas when I was like 8, and the story just isn't new (not to mention the stupid film-school tactics used to make the movie seem pertinent and smart; they are destroying a planet's way of life to obtain precious resources what could this possibly be a reference to in our pop culture?). The story isn't new in Inception either. How many times have you heard someone say "what if it was all just a dream?" What little of a plot there is based on this old and tired musing, and the rest on a man who is paid vast sums of money to put people to sleep and rape their subconscious mind, not unlike Christopher Nolan does with Inception.

That was a cool movie, and one I would like to see again.

Haven't seen Inception, but definitely want to.

Occasionally, Hondas are driven by people who exhibit brain activity, as the lap times on the Nordschleife demonstrate:
Honda NSX R NA2, 7:56 min
Honda NSX R NA1, 8:03 min
Honda S2000, 8:39 min
Honda Civic R, 8:47
For comparison:
BMW E92, 8:26 min

That's in Germany. That's different. The Germans do great things.

It's funny that you'd mention Batman Begins. The reason I say that is that Inception wasn't really that long, it's run time was 2:28. Batman Begins had a runtime of 2:20. It also wasn't unnecessarily complicated IMO, and was actually pretty tightly directed. Furthermore, Batman Begins was far from an original story, so it's not as though that really matters to you. Continuing the comparison, Inception got 9.4/10 on IMDB, Batman Begins is at 8.3/10. They're tied on Rotten Tomatoes. It's pretty clear your opinion is in the minority.

Inception was good, just not as good as everyone makes it out to be. Some of your remarks make this movie out to be the best film made in the last decade. I would rate it just slightly under 9/10.

Straight statistics, all supporting the fact that people have different opinions about movies. So regardless of how "popular" my opinion is, it's there. Batman Begins was long too, in fact I remember seeing it in the theatre and thinking towards the end "surely this is going to wrap up soon." The difference is that I was entertained for most, if not all, of that movie. Inception failed to do this for me. Furthermore, Batman Begins is based on a comic book series while Inception is based on Nolan's screenplay. Therefore I go to the movies to see them for two ENTIRELY different reasons. Batman I expect to be as close to the comic books as possible and throw in subtle references for the hardcore fans. I don't give a damn how original it is if it is faithful to the comics and is good. A movie based on a screenplay however, should be pretty original in my book.

You're right, I'm mad. Mad that I spent eleven bucks to go see Inception. I don't understand why everyone is blowing huge sticky wads over this movie. It was neither phenomenal nor original nor very entertaining to me.
