Magnaflow 14815

Does anyone here have any decent pics or video of an N52 with Magnaflow muffler 14815? Anyone have this setup or have any thoughts on it? I am considering getting one.

ho much of the factory piping did you replace? Or did you just install the muffler to the factory piping?

Thanks, now I have a few questions.

Is there any drone?
Is this setup lighter than stock?
Did you delete the resonator?

I'm looking to do this same mod. Im surprised you didn't cut the resonator and it is still loud enough. Any aftermarket intake?

Do you still have this setup? If so, could you maybe make a video of what it sounds like at takeoff and during driving?

i just picked up a used one for my e30. seems to be popular with the e30 crowd. A lot of them say it's a bit too loud with some drone, so it's recommended to add a resonator. With that being said I'd take the advice of the k3m0 and leave your resonator

Magnaflow

I was kind of set on the BMW PE but I kind of like the Magnaflow, too- seems a few bucks less but that probably neither here nor there.
Best deal I could find on the PE was $950 shipped. The MF looks to be just under $800 (NOT including shipping)
By the same token, the MF should be a whole lot easier to get as you don't need to go through a BMW dealer that is far away. My local dealer's best price on the PE was $1400.
Additionally- the PE looks to have no tips at all- just cut pipe and it doesn't look too impressive visually; whereas the MF looks nicely finished with twin-wall tubing. That's what the tips looked like on my SVT focus.
If you need to buy two tips to make the PE look good... well, that's another $100 or so if you want nice ones.
What's the sound like on the MF in comparison to the PE? Some of the clips don't seem terribly helpful in really determining the sound.

I doubt he even spent that much on the magnaflow did he? The muffler only cost around $100 if I am not mistaken

I have the magnaflow 14814 and love it, but I also had a custom header back exhaust made, 3 inch from header back to muffler.

Now its a bit louder, after headers install. It was fine before the headers, now I just install a resonator maybe!
