I'm sure this kit will put down serious numbers without meth. Plus, E85 will give you cooling + octane benefits. |

It wasn't even a myth. It was a theory with no REAL evidence to prove this was actually true with the pistons in hand with pictures of two pistons manufactured in two different years and scientific results. It was just this part number plus that say so equals Forged Pistons. Its still unclear who the pistons came from in which year let alone what they are made of in each year. I say they are all cast. No reason really to put forged pistons in. I'd be happy to find out they were forged obviously.

Sorry not understanding at all what you are asking. The wastegate itself is a piece of metal that covers a hole. The actuator is what controls that piece of metal. 99% of all wastegates are controlled by boost, as you get to your boost level it pushes it open, BMW in all its infinite wisdom decided to make its system vacuum actuated, needing vacuum canisters and all this extra crap. Causing many many many problems and in the end costing them millions of dollars in replacing turbos. The ONLY reason we went through all the trouble of keeping the stock actuators is because now the DME things its controlling stock turbos. You read all the threads about the singles pulling codes and misfires at even low boost levels, etc, etc, etc. Well so far even with a few pulls to redline, the DME is happy as a clam it has no idea anything is off as it still gets to control boost exactly how it was designed too, not to mention its reading all 4 of its 02 sensors where they should be.

I am suscribed too.. I cant wait to see how this shakes out. The GTX2863 is making 550whp on 3litter 350z on pump. So I am expecting similar results here. If the price is "affordable" then this will be a great option for those of us wanting 550whp on pump and no meth.

Myth lies in the realm of faith-based belief systems, so your accusation does indeed fit better as 'myth'. There is a high standard of proof for a theory, which some folks like climate change deniers seem to forget. |

Again science used to be about hypothesis testing, now it seems it is about political correctness. This is sad, something Galileo could relate to (being blinded by the catholic church as a heretic for his viewing of the moons of Jupiter). Also folks who try to label climate change skeptics as similar to holocaust deniers ought to tell anyone reasonable what these people are about. Holier than thou guilt trippers who do nothing themselves, but jizz all over themselves at the chance to feel superior about somthing. Won't get into it here but I have the academic and and research cred to make these statements. I have seen the super computer models and I know what they lack. Did you know that water vapor is a greenhouse gas? It is between 100 and 1000 times more abundant than CO2, and ITS ROLE IS NOT UNDERSTOOD so they leave it out of their models. This is just bad science that gives rise to bad political action, bad laws and bad economics. But it lets some people tell other people what to do and to TAX them. I have no problem with people caring about the atmosphere, but frankly most of you clowns are just pious hypocrites. Care about the earth? Then stop driving cars, using power or anything manufactured/grown that uses it. Reduce your carbon footprint to zero. Otherwise you're no different that the prison guard at Auschwitz who bemoans the final solution but still pulls the lever day in day out. Or maybe pulls it one time less per day because he "cares". Reduce your carbon footprint to zero or STFU. Or go get a PhD in climatology and look at the data, you might be surprised. edit: Vargas, sorry to trash up your thread with this, but some statements must be refuted. Will not comment further. I would hesitate testing hypotheses by experimenting with earth. It would be different had we more than one of them. Moreover, it is a chaotic system that gives random outcomes from seemingly same situations. There is no valid theory for explaining the outcomes. However, we know that the theory of green house effect is simple and valid. Which, in turn, means CO2 is potentially harmful. The huge budget deficit requires additional revenues. Better to tax potentially harmful stuff, than say e.g. work, which is good stuff

I plan on getting stage 2's for my xi, that'd be interesting. I can report back once I make the laundry list of changes (intercooler, fuel pump, clutch)
PS: ajsalida's invoking of Godwin's Law was record fast |
