I'm not sure about how to install the kit, but you might also need error cancelling codes because our cars are special like that lol

Please don't put HID bulbs in your Halogen headlamp housings. Just don't.

Error code eliminators will stop flickering and are hit and miss when it comes to stopping errors on the dash. Most pre 04/07 E9x cars have issues with errors due to HID bulbs. Coding is usually the best way to get rid of them.

With my 08 civic si there was a unit called "flashpro" that was a device you plug into the OBDII port and the other end into the laptop. From there you were able to tune just about every aspect of the car's ECU. With BMW I haven't even looked into tuning the car in any way yet. |

Once your ballasts are digital .. you shouldnt have a problem with error codes being thrown... but theres always that percentage of cars that wanna give you a hard time.. the error cancelers can be found on DDM for real cheap. I used to install HID's as a side hussle.. done over 100 cars... new digital ballasts come with those code cancelers built in.
