Perfect placement, right in front of you, no looking down, taking your eyes off the road.

It was built by RMR.......... I also have a Greddy boost gauge sitting around.

But really 11-14 psi is a joke, reading in bars. The needle barley moves.

Now 20-23 lbs. was fun to watch the needle sweep.

I know its for measurements and not "looks".
I had that exact gauge pod for my evo as well paired with defi's. I've recommended it to a few other evo owners and they all love it! Something like that would look hot in our cars only thing is it would block the car info and odo in our clusters. Something to look into though... I'm sure carbontrix could make a carbon mold if someone wanted to send them their plastic steering column.

1clean335i, what kind of gauges are you using? From what vendor did you purchase the gauges?

Thanks.

I think its Exhaust temp. He'll have to confirm that though. I've never heard of JC. I've always loved Blitz and Defi personally.

yep.
If STRI made a smaller one then I would get that for sure.
This way it could be put in more areas.

Just in case you haven't seen this thread, I thought I'd post it here.

I'm not a fan of the digital gauge but everybody has their favorites.
To me there's nothing like watching the needle rev up during boost.

I saw that.. i just don't want to put a boost gauge up onto my dash board. I too would much rather have a defi gauge like that over a digital gauge... it just seems like this tiny digital gauge will make for a much cleaner install.

Thanks.
The boost gauge is an Autometer sport comp II gauge. I got it from jegs.com. The air/fuel gauge is a no name brand. Its currently there to fill the hole until i get downpipes so I can wire up the wideband. I made the set-up from scratch using the sunglass holder

In my wrx I had it mounted on my steering column* (it didn't block the view of the RPM's as much as it appears in this pic):

* ya i know this isn't necessarily "clean", but I would do it right with the bmw..

That looks pretty good. And, even if you did block some of the RPMs, it's not like you would be driving above 7k rpms anyway. Good location!
