It does work on the 231 BHP 330d. You can see which cars it works on our website under the bmw section evolve automotive

We have not tested it on Windows 7 - it works on Vista and XP.

Cheers Imran, I noticed on the site it says the switch

Reads and clears fault codes

What does this "actually" mean, is it specific to the Remap possible faults or will it act as a Garage "Fault reader" and pick up all BMW Faults

It can read fault codes (although it doesnt tell you what they are) and can clear them.

Hi everyone,

I finaly after 7h work with the computer got my new Switch to link.
I have Windows 7 x64 and i can tell you that the drivers included are not for that OS.

So here are the solution:
Visit http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm and download the driver version 2.06.02 or later. Extract the drivers and then follow the guide here http://www.ftdichip.com/Documents/Ap...r_Windows7.pdf
Be sure to use the same USB-port otherwise you have to install drivers for the new USB-port.
I saw that they have some drivers for Mac OS also but im not sure it will work.

Anyway: Tomorrow I´m going to get my 330d E91 EVOLVED

Hi again,

I must inform you that you need to manualy select to install ftdibus.inf and ftdiport.inf. The guide mention above says it will automaticly find the driver if you only point to them but that will not work. Otherwise follow the guide.
