Replacing DSC Hydro pump programming questions

I've been getting fault codes 5df0 and 5df1 for about a month. I've purchased a Bavtec tool and I ordered a new hydro pump. Will I be able to program the new pump with the Bavtec tool? If so, could someone please describe how it's done?

Might want to check this out:

If you keep your old control unit, provided that it's working ok, you won't need any programming.
The bavtec tool does not allow programming as far as i know, but not really sure!

I've read that post and responded to it. He was only getting one of the fault codes (5df0). I think that's why replacing only the pump half was needed. I'm also getting code 5df1 (connection failure). So I'm planning to replace the whole unit. I need to know if I'm going to be able to program the new one once it's installed.

Question answered... Bavtec just got back to me. If the new unit actually NEEDS to be coded it will have to go back to the dealer.
