I don't like deep dish alloys, to me it just looks so 'council'.
I don't mind BBS alloys, but shoving 18" ones that are far too wide on E30s just makes them look chavtatstic imho. E30s can look very chavvy too. I feel I can say that as I had one till last year.... |

I think the problem is when the BBS wheels are too wide for the ca or chromed or on cars that look like the springs have snapped, or more often than not a combination of all three. |

Also, to me anyway, I like old cars when they look factory fresh, original. They then look like a nice classic, collectible. When they have blingy alloys on they just look like old cars, nicely kept old cars, but old cars all the same.
Again, just my perception. |

Exactly my thoughts, gIzzE.
A proper set of BBS alloys suit them fine, like the original M3 Evolution - but most of the above simply look chavvy to me, especially with those comical ride heights. Escapees from the worst of the early Max Power magazines. Shudder. D.

Just not a big fan of all the stickers lol. A couple others I quite like too. |

IT was an E30 M3 replica that first started my interest in cars. I know it was a rep because the badge on the back said 323

My mate had a red e30 325i msport with a black leather recaro interior of which I've never seen another one like it - it was totally gorgeous - I loved it back in the 90s.
It always felt super quick too back in the day but they only had 170 odd break didn't they?

Hmm, still not convinced. I really dislike the 'chavvy', 'council' look but I still don't think stanced with larger than average bbs wheels is that.
To me, this is what would spring to mind for that look... |

Now that is chavvy. If you're talking about a Halfords job then this would probably be an example, such a shame. This however (imo) is absolutely stunning. I've got a few mates who have some older cars and the expense and effort they put into maintaining and modifying them is unbelievable. Someone has clearly put a lot in to making this car look so good |

I don't get why people who ruin the ride and handling of a car renowned for it's ride and handling mostly get hailed as genuine enthusiasts
Scene sheep seems a far more appropriate title - the fact that most of these abominations are from stance this or dubwannabe that dot com speaks volumes As fugly as the pink thing is at least you can actually drive it unlike those others that will rip the belly off on the first leaf - assuming the dangerously overstretched tyres haven't fallen off the rim before they get there |

I don't follow, surely if the suspension is modified correctly (ie. not cut springs or any old chav crap) the handling is more than likely going to be improved over standard ??? It's possible to have good stance and good handling.
