Hey all.... Are there many people on here from the cincy area? I am looking for information on possible shops that do quality tuning/dyno work on BMW's. I'd like to get the alpine trans flash and a dyno tune for my E92 one of these days.

I can do the Alpina flash, that's no problem. As far as dyno tuning, I'd like to find some info on that myself.

There is nothing to really dyno tune on this car. Pick a tune that does what you want and call it a day.

I guess you're not that familiar with dyno tuning a car. Do you think that Terry's cars are running that kind of power with out the box maps? Negative. Put it on a dyno and work the fuel maps to match your car in your environment. There's a ton of things that can be tuned...

My point is he had already done the work. You are not going to do anything different. I have been using terry's stuff for 7 years and never had the need to go to a dyno and let someone practice on my car. At this point with the n54 unless you are going big or single turbo there is no need to reinvent all the maps out there. I am happy where my car is at with terry's canned maps for my power levels.

I really dunno other than I always have motorcycles dyno tuned.... I'm new with this car stuff. Thanks for the offer Die. I find myself in Cbus once in a while as I have family and inlaws there. Might take you up on that one weekend. How long does it take?

Not long at all. He did it on mine, paddle shifters and all. But we learned the hard way be sure to let the car sit for 10-15 minutes first

Turn in Concepts will have an AWD Dyno Dynamics dyno available soon. It's installed at their new shop, but they haven't moved to that location yet. I'm guessing November, but I'd contact them to be sure.

They're bringing in a new tuner, not sure if they've publically announced who yet. While he's primarily a Subaru guy, he's tuned a lot of BMW's as well.

They'll be doing my tune for me after my RB's get installed.

Just another option that's local in Cincy.

That's exciting news about Turn In Concepts. From cbus but made a short trip back in June to have them perform walnut blasting on the intake valves and couldn't have been happier with their operation.

Winter Wheels and tires up for grabs in the Akron area! Hey guys, I have a set of Sport Edition A7 wheels with 225-45-17 winter tires on them but I think at least 2 tires are shot. I need to get out of the garage now that I am no longer a BMW owner (sold the 330i in September). Thanks to the Ohio roads, I-76 in particular, one of the wheels has a dent in it but it causes no noticeable driving issues. At the moment I am at work and have no pics of the rims/tires but they are in OK condition. I can't recall any curb rash, just typical wear from our Ohio roads.... Looking to get $250 for them as is and can get pics if interested. I will even throw in the the two sand tubes I used for weight in the trunk, haha! Any details on your 330i, I just traded mine in to a dealer in Cuyahoga Falls early in September. Color? Miles? Sport package or not? There are very few in the area for sale, at least within 50 miles of Akron so it makes me wonder if you bought mine.... I never saw it go up for sale at the dealer I traded in to so it either went to auction or someone bought it immediately!
