BMS Powerbox Problems

I don't know if its just me, but it seems like my BMS PBX is turning back to stock. I will set it up one night and when I get out of work the next morning it seems that if it had been put back to stock. the main reason I feel like that is the throttle isnt as touchy the next morning. I had it installed by a professional shop so i feel like it was installed correctly, but i was talking to a guy at BMW and he was saying that the DME is super smart and will correct itself after driving for a little bit.

anyone feel the same thing or know what the problem could be?

had mine for a month now. so such bahaviour, setting stays put. I know because the acceleration is more pronounced than stock (i'm on Map 2 - 60% throttle remapping, performance tuning on)

I assume your not pressing the gas pedal before you turn it on (which resets the PBX)...

Double-check your wiring...?

I'm on Map 2 on my PB as well, it doesn't change setting randomly.

Its really weird. I was reading on BMS's website that if it was wired incorrectly that it wouldn't work(check engine light). So I don't know if the place that installed it found the one wire that could be messed up.
its like when you install a radio and don't hook up the constant power so whenever you turn off your car resets. Im not sure whats in that special little connector but if it needs a constant power supply and its not getting it then it could be resetting every time the car is shut off. I just don't wanna pull apart my engine bay to find that it is wired correctly and have it be a waste of time. thats why I'm trying to see if anyone has had the same problem and see what their problem was.

try contacting BMS see if they can offer any hints short of pullng everything apart. did you ask the professional shop that did the install if they've done it before ? can they give you some refs ? OTOH the install is pretty hard to mess up esp. with no codes thrown but that is just my guess...

I have had mine over a year now, and no probs at all, i always switch between maps as well, 6 for city, and 3 for highways. if i recall right, there was a wrong wire coloring in the install guide.

solid and striped yellow (pin6) if i remember correct (that was actually a year ago), there was a thread regarding this issue (you would need to dig deeper to find it)
basically double check that the wiring was made in accordance to the numbers and not the wires colors
