Teaser: Big tires on an E90 ... 18x9.5/18x10.5

I wanted to try something different for the hell of it

Apex Arc 8 18x9.5 et 35 +5 spacer (so et30 total) /18x10.5 et27 with 245/40R18 & 275/35R18. The brand of tire I bought measures out to about the same widths as 255/40R18 & 285/35R18 LOL . . . oops.

I have my KW V2's turned near full stiff and it still rides pretty decent. Daily driven hard.

I've dialed out most of the rubbing but it still crunches . . . need a more aggressive alignment in the rear and a tiny bit more roll. . . . and I'll have a friend with good camera/editing skills take some non shitty pictures

EDIT:
found this one floating around

i'll have to get my buddy to take some better shots. i was kinda disappointed at the concavity, the front and rear concavity is the same, the only difference is that the lugs are recessed further and deeper on the 10.5

Nice!

What brand tires are you running?

I have 255/35 up front on 8.5" rims and 265/35 on the rear on 9.5" rims.

Falken 452. It's Moreso the offset and the (lack of) height that's killing me . I'm going to raise my car a quarter inch all around soon and if I had more inset offset I'm sure I could get away with 295 or 305 lol

If you don't mind me asking, how'd you measure the tire? FK452's always ran pretty true to size. If anything, they run pretty skinny/rounded off hence why alot of guys that have rubbing problems with say regular 265's switch to FK452's or T1R's 265's and dont rub anymore.

Looks good nonetheless.
