DTM Rep Hartge Front Lip Install Question

My vehicle is leased. Is there a safe way to install the DTM Hartge Rep. Front Lip so that if I had to remove it at the end of the lease there wouldn't be any damage?

When I talked to DTM, they recommended that it be installed with betalink style adhesive, as opposed to 3m tape. While they said 3m tape could be used, I got the feeling that it wouldn't be an optimal install using that approach. Tape is easy to remove with no damage, but I doubt you could install it with betalink style adhesive and remove it without damage to the stock bumper.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If I use Betalink, if at a later date I use a heat gun to soften the betalink (assumimng that it softens after having cured for 3 years) will it release with minimal damage to the paint and the bumper?

No. Don't use betalink which is rubber, but 3M tape instead. Just a little 3M tape along the edge is enough to hold the lip well since the lip is very light. I use 3M for my ACS side skirts, Kerscher rear apron and ACS roof spoiler. They hold very well.

I only used tape and so far so good.
There are 3 screws that will hold the spoiler from the bottom.
The top will be hold by the tape.
Also note that the horizontal decorative bars will go over the spoiler
pillars. So they will also help keep the spoiler in place.
See my DIY below.
