Question Which oil filter for E90 ?

I'm looking to order a few oil filters and would like to know if the below are recommended for 2006 325 xi.

Mann - Filter HU 816 X Metal-Free Oil Filter

the ones from BMW, Mann, Wix all the same. Been there done that. All say "Made in Germany" also.

15k oil changes, OEM. Less than 15k oil changes then anything you want.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

I have both and YES they are both made by Mann -- but the Mann Filter has a metal cleat -- other than that they look identical. But there is a difference.

Order QTY of 10 from Tischer -- change N54 every 5k with cheapest LL01 U can find --- GC or M1 .
