I have an E90 that I track about 6-8 times a year and am getting to the point where I think I can benefit from a harness. This car is also my daily driver and family sedan, so I won't be putting in a roll cage. Is there a harness that I can use which installs quickly for track use, or at least is discrete enough to be out of the way if I have 4 people in the car? What kind of modifications would be needed to install one (or two, since I'd like any driving instructor/passenger to enjoy the same protection that I do)?

I use the Schroth Quickfit Pro. They are recently released for the E90/E92.

Does this fit an E90 with stock sport seats and no roll cage?

Well you will need a harness bar regardless. The 6 point will not work because 2 of those 'points' comes through the middle of the seat. Didn't know if you had sport seats or recaros.

Check out the Schroth quick fit for the E9x. Call HMS Motorsport. They are great and can answer all of your questions. It's an easy install and the harnesses can be stowed behind the seats when not in use. They are FMVSS approved so they should be permitted by most clubs.
