Just got my DA2, did some preliminary tests. All seems to work fine, except the PDC beeps on the Toslink completely screws up, lots of white noise. The other audio and gongs are fine, and the PDC beeps are fine on the analog outs, just not on the Toslink.
I'm hoping it's just a DAC issue (using an old Rotel DAC just to test it before getting possibly a BitOne); can anyone confirm the PDC working with Toslink?

My PDC beeps are SUPER loud. I have a firmware where the PDC beeps do not work. Stay away from the bit one.

The DA2's manual states that:

"Although there are only 7 points in the BMW system, the DA2 Series features a 31 band equalisation for which the BMW system is spread across so in effect compliments the 31 band equalisation system that can be user defined. The BMW system also has three DSP settings that can be utilised. The user can select a different DSP setting through the radio and then adjust the equalisation curve for this particular setting. The DA2 Series will save these settings according to the current DSP selection. This in effect gives the user three different equalisation curves that can be called upon demand which is something that the factory system does not offer."

I see that a few months ago this wasn't working properly, but seeing that they haven't removed it from the manual I was wondering if they managed to fix it. If I understand correctly, you should be able to fine tune using the 31 band EQ of the DA2 somehow?

Also, are the gong/PDC beeps working properly?

I would like to use this with my Mosconi 6to8, but i do not want to use an external controller.

Yes- IF it has the MOST optical port. (Not all do)

Yes, IF it has the MOST optical port and the head unit is coded to 677 or 688 or 752 (Logic 7, HK, or Individual/EPS).

How does this wire in, I understand that is bypasses the stock amp completely but can I reuse the body wiring with a harness?
