I'm here for a service appointment for my seatbelt assist which will no longer grab and hand my seatbelt for me, my thigh support just pops out on its own now and no longer stays in place, and I have a weird noise coming from the passenger side under the hood.. It's gonna be an hour or two.. Should of just dropped it off but whatever.. I'm bored. They said they're gonna replace my brake fluid n shit too, so that's cool.. Agh bored!

I just replaced the seatbelt extender myself this week too. Bought and replaced with this part:

Yea I should've asked for a loaner but I really didn't have anything else better to do.. I kinda didn't mind be around new BMW's though.. I did my share of snooping around the lot.. This was my first time taking it to the dealer. To be honest I didn't know about the loaners.. All is well now though, they fixed my seatbelt assist and put an order for the thigh support part. If it takes this long next time I'll definitely request a loaner.. Maybe they'll give me an F30..

I was there this past Sat to drop off my dad's 528i for service and took out the F30 335 sportline for an hour test drive, . I will post some pics tonight.

i always thought it was the belt (softening over time) causing the arm not to grab the belt. so it's because the arm itself needs to be replaced?

how hard was it to replace? did you do the install/uninstall yourself? all the sudden my driver grabs the belt 8/10 times. but the passenger side never grabs anymore.
