Broken volume knob

Hi everyone. I tapped my volume knob the other day to quickly mute the system and the top portion of it fell off. I am thinking about just super flying it back into place as it doesn't really stay on well when I put it back and place and push it in. I did a horrible job at explaining the situation but the attached picture should hopefully clear up any confusion as to what the situation is. I apologize for the iPhone quality pictures.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Will a bit of super glue do the trick? Thanks

Well, that's if there's any pictures... Are you talking about the metallic trim, or the entire knob itself? If it's the trim, then I think carefully gluing it should be fine. If not, you can order part number 65129231059 for non-iDrive, 65129114289 for iDrive.

I apologize, i attempted to upload the pictures from the app but couldn't figure out how to do it. - Yes just the chrome rim and the black insert fell off.

Thank you! I will try gluing the piece back on and if it doesn't take or doesn't turn out quite right i'll order the part. Looks like the part should only run me $15 or so.
