I have always been into detailing but detailing with a paint correction process is fairly new with me. I still have a number things to learn. And one thing I love about this forum is the wealth of knowledge everyone brings to it. Everyone does some amazing work!! |

I have been the same way about detailing. When I got my second black BMW I came full circle on detailing. Paint correction is an art. There is more to it than just buffing paint. There is a lot of knowledgeable people on here. |

Thanks, hopefully he'll hit you back. Really wished I would have bought all my parts used. I could have saved THOUSANDS!!! I'll continue posting good deals from the FS sections when I spot them.

You got that right about paint correction. It's definitely a meticulous process. I'm sure I could learn a lot from you though. A friend of mine detailed while we we're in Germany and I helped him as much as I could. Now do it on my own. Just doing my own ride. |

I'm always down for learning new tips and tricks. I spend a lot of time on the "wash, wax and detailing" forum here and on autogeek.net. My biggest barriers are time and supplies (and knowing what items to get) and funds to buy them. |

I am on the Autogeek forum with the same username as here. I also buy all my supplies from them as well. Time as well as knowledge and experience are the biggest factors when it comes to serious detailing. Without one you can't wing it. |

Thanks. Can you post a pix? I think I figured out how I want to have it painted. Going to drop it off at the paint shop after I find some M3 hood struts.
