I picked 3 day delivery so it should be here on Friday.

I pick the Enthusiast version, may upgrade down the road and this should be useful in my upcoming testing (I'm glad I got delayed too. )

The Autologic is also a bit cheaper than the GT1, and fully portable. Completely capable of reprogramming/coding/etc. However, it is MUCH more expensive, $13,000 or so...

Not sure what the pro version of this goes for, though, it might be comparable. I've played with the autologic, and I REALLY like it.

yes you can.

"We do offer an upgrade to the professional version, but the enthusiast cable must be sent back to us as the cable cannot be field upgraded. Our offer is that you can apply 100% of the purchase cost towards a professional version.

The enthusiast version can have its vehicles cleared out. We do this one time for no charge but after that it is a $50 fee to clear the VINs. We can do this remotely"

How long before someone developes a custom flash using this? Will the real shark edit please stand up?

So.. would it not be a good time to buy a Piggyback or is that a bit premature?

If this offered @ home flashing with tuner provided maps (as is often done in the Evo market), I'd have already dropped the coin on this.
I'd even drop the coin on the Pro version for @home flashing, if it was at all possible.

However, $300 for clearing "hidden" code is invaulable for all you guys who are running tuned out there. Great peace of mind when it comes to the warranty.

Now, one wonders WTF happened to the SharkEdit boys...

It looks like the guy behind this project is Duram Plummer. This guy developed the Durametric tool for Porsches.

It looks like this software only supports MSD80 right now. I'm waiting to hear back from the developer regarding MSD81 support.

I think it has to support MSD81 as it claims it supports the 135 which is only available in MSD81.

I agree re the utility of clearing hidden codes for around $300. Sweeet.

If you read the earlier post by mwahlert on page 3 BT responding saying they weren't offering custom flashes because of the legal implications. Maybe that's the black hole that ate shark edit as well.

That seems a bit odd though considering flashing is done with other brands already but maybe they just didn't want to cross that bridge yet?

I'd be willing to bet one or more tuners are already talking to these guys about what can and can't be done and we'll hear more soon. Very exciting indeed!

I believe the 135i came with the MSD80 prior to 03/2008.
