E90 N52, where am I leaking oil here?
Hey guys, I´m new here, sorry if I´m posting in the wrong forum.
A few days ago I found this puddle of oil under my car. I´m not sure what´s leaking here, if it´s the crankshaft front seal or the oil pan gasket. Could anyone help me out? 500km ago I´ve replaced: Intake Manifold Gaskets Valve Cover Gasket Oil Cooler Gasket & Oil Filter Housing Gasket Valvetronic Motor Gasket New CCV Both Disa Valves This is the 2005 325i, N52B25 Here´s a video of the leak Here´s a picture of the part that´s leaking I´d really appreciate any help |

Looks like oil pan, but that's usually from the right/rear side. It seems too far off to the side and fighting gravity for the crankshaft seal?

The great thing about liquids is they start in one spot and work there way somewhere else. The belly pan makes an oil leak super hard to find on these cars.
As I said on the neighboring similar thread hit the engine with engine cleaner degreaser clean that poor neglected engine up. Then look in a few days/weeks later to see where oil has reemerged after being cleaned. |
