Where to buy Carbon fibre interior for BMW 320d E90
Hello all, l have thinking about updating my interior trim from wood grain to a real carbon fibre interior, not just wrapping it in carbon fibre. Has anyone done this and if so were did you purchase it from?.Was the quality and fitment good and how much did it cost you?l have a 2009 BMW E90 320d sedan.
Thank you all in advance for your advise. Rob |

If you're talking about OEM insert replacement, I believe you're looking at over $1,000. Quality and fitment would be 100% as its OEM from BMW.
Wait! does 320d E90 have that option? I'd assume so.

^that's really cool! Never heard of such technology. Anyone in Sydney do that? Although it might seem a little susceptible to scratches. I suppose a few layers of clear over the top would help

A couple places here in perth, quoted me 200 for front lip. however in that case i might as well buy a real cf lip also you can buy DIY on ebay. if you got the balls to do it. |

I just received a reply from HugasLTD who said the hydrographics is not easy.
These are the steps: You need Water tank (big enough to dip your item) Primer (plastic, metal, aluminium) Base coat (water-based automobile paint) Varnish- lacquer (again automobile) Hydrographics film Hydrographics activator And a lots of patience (its not so easy as you can see on Youtube) Sticky side down to water. Wait 90-120sec Spray activator. Wait10-20sec Dip your item 40 degrees corner Wash your item Wait till it drys Spray top coat. Water temperature 25-28C |

If you're just looking to get rid of the wood grain, look up the high gloss black. The previous owner put it in my car and it looks neat. In comparison, the large dash piece is $480 in carbon, but only $88 in gloss black. Last edited by Scotty89; 11-20-2014 at 05:40 AM.. |

Hmm that water transfer printing is very interesting, I might give it a go and dip my silver interior trim with a full gloss carbon finish if the price is right! Any ideas on how much it will cost in Sydney?
