My evolve'd 335d

Had a good day at evolve today, great guys, real friendly and selling one heck of a product. The car is flying! Made 307 standard too, not sure if this was before or after CF. Imran said he'd seen a few over 300. Anyway I'll post the graph up below. Oh mpg has improved too, bonus.[IMG][/IMG]

Looks great!! Since having mine Evolved I've been trying to do economy runs than booting it lol but what impressed me was the DTC light flashing @ 60MPH in a straight line, winter tyres don't help but still!

Enjoy!

sorry guys, 340hp, is this at the flywheel?...

i.e BMW quotes 286 hp as standard...so you've gone up from 286 to 340?

Great figures Mike

With nearly 570lb/ft that thing must make the world spin backwards when flexing your right toes

Thats quite an amazing starting figure! Were you expecting a higher final figure given the starting point? For some reason i thought 350 was expected. Not critisizing just interested. I have mine booked in at evolve, a week Monday based on the feedback coming from this forum

True! however the F10's torque looks like it's capped and it also has peak torque from 1500rpm to 5800rpm whereas the remapped diesel only has it between 1800rpm to 2750 rpm! would love to see what the F10 could make if it wasn't made to flat-line.

I asked the same thing, (higher starting figure/high end figure) but he said before the remap it will be the same end figure. I did have the option of two maps by the way, a higher BHP and lower torque or vice versa, and went for the higher torque.

This is definitely swaying me in whether to get a 335D or not.

Nice figures all round guys. I bet you'll/have become friendly with your local rubber merchant.

Ahh... Ok, I'll give a dealer a call to check they've still got the car I've got my eye on

Just a bit worried about my lack of a commute on that car though, cue "get a 335" talk lol.

How did you get on bud?

A quick update, I'm really enjoying the car up to now, (the car in general as i only picked up 24/12 and the remap). Ordered the BMW Performance grilles too, just looking at some CF splitters, which will more than likely be chinaebaycopyjobbies! as I refuse to pay that sort of money for the gen ones, also fancy an M3 boot spoiler 'lip' but have it painted gloss black or maybe carbon. Bored my self to tears looking at LUX/MTEC/AiB's , had an e-mail from HIDS-DIRECT who told me they have the new LUX's in for the E92 just not started selling yet (guessing V2.1's) and these will retail at £130. I look at it as the money i'm saving not filling that bloody S3 up I can spend on bits for the beemer!
