Dyno Day - 330i + AA Tune = Happyness
Ok around jan 1st there was a dyno day were u get 3 pulls for $50 so i got some ok numbers on my 330i of 198hp and 202 tq. And thats with a muffler delete and injen intake.
well since then i got the AA tune (Witch was so worth ever cent!) and i deleted my 2ndary cats and i was kinda bummin myshelf down cause i didnt expect much with my luck at least. I was thinking ide make like 210hp and 215tq. Well i was more then happy. 1st run was in 3rd why idk the guy hit the wot. (In Blue) 2nd run was in 4th as well 3rd run. (Red & Green) Next is gavins sweet headers & o2 sims. Then ill be crossing fingers for 235-240hp and some what around the same with TQ Would i have to get a re flash from AA to update new add on's? Congrats on the tune. I'm getting it on Tuesday...
BTW, you never responded. Do you still want the tires?

How're you liking it? Feel drastically different? And did you have the PBX before?

couldnt really feel it till like the next day after the tune. But i love the throttle feel that was one thing i loved the most. I was able to remove my super sprint booster. And from 3.5k to 6.5k pulls strong. 3rd and 4th gear very noticable gain. I never ran the PBX i had the super sprint throttle booster from like 2nd week after i got the car and i was ok with that for a while till i kept hearing so many good things about the AA Tune i was like fuck it why not. But what i really love is that i can still use my super sprint with the tune and its fun with Traction Control off and the booster set on max i have no issue lighting up all of 1st and some of 2nd.

Are any of guys doing the AA tune still with your CPO and maintenance warranties? I got 2 years left, I'm in between ESS and AA bcuz I don't want the dealer to find out that I did a tune then void whatever warranties *I know they won't find out unless they really look but the service guy driving the car might notice* Just wanted a little chime in.
ESS is my first choice cuz I can switch it back and forth on the fly but at the cost it's ehhh but AA one time deal. What do I do? |

Gotcha. Well man you're gonna need tires! It'll be much harder to light up first and probably won't get any of second with those things.

Very cool! Have a 3stage manifold on my 325i ATM. Dunno if I am gonna get headers or performance exhaust before getting an ecu tune from gintani or AA. Hoping to see similar or a little below the numbers you're seeing!

I believe AA has a version for "off road usage/Catless", Their website says they do.
So you wouldn't NEED a new flash, the adaptations in the car should run it fine, but there is the option to push the car more with a different tune file from AA. |

The e9x has an ECU that adapts to changes, so it can tell when a mod is added and it will automatically adjust itself to the new mod.
So the file you have right now from AA - will work fine. But, if you get bored, they have a more aggressive version also available. But it is not required |
