What is an acceptable timing correction?

We had our first semi-hot day yesterday so I did my first data log. Running Cobbs wimpiest OTS tune. On my cleanest run I saw fairly widespread timing corrections between 0 and -1.9°. On another where I got some wheel slippage I saw as high as -3.8°. I believe the acceptable range is something like below 5° but not sure if that is right or not. Can someone fill me in.

I'm installing an FMIC next week (arrived yesterday ) so I'm curious to see what those logs will look like both before and after I bump up the tune.

Thanks in advance.

Was the log at WOT? Timing corrections will happen all the time when not at WOT and you don't really have to worry too much about them.
Timing corrections at WOT of -1.9 are fine but if they consistently happen on one or two cylinders then you might want to replace spark plugs or swap coil packs and see if they go away.
(This is what Cobb told me)

Yes WOT. I did the run specifically to check for timing corrections since I just installed the tune about 2 weeks ago and want to make sure everything is kosher before I continue upping the performance mods. The plugs are brand new, coils are original (4 yrs/33k miles). Is there a threshold range where it is too much correction and you have an actual problem on your hands?

at wot timing correction less than 3 degrees if not consistent and not on multiple cylinders is accepted.
