I took the pix with my nokia phone. it has a 1.3 megapixel 4.5mm 1:3.2.

Too bad the Shelby doesn't have the performance to go with the looks. After they finally make a Mustang that looks badass again they have to go and make it drive poorly

I'll have to politely disagree. A Veyron weighs over 4,100 pounds. Koenigsegg CCX weighs 2,600 pounds. Top Gear wasn't allowed to take the Veyron around their track and I believe it's because the engineers know it would get slaughtered. Does < 10 MPH top speed really make a difference anyway? Plus you get the CCX with a man's transmission. (1st gear is good for 97 MPH I might add

I agree. While the Veyron is super fast, they won't let Stig and the Top Gear crew take one around the track. James got to drive one in Germany (up to 247mph) and Clarkeson drove one across Europe but not on the track.

I think they even offered to compensate any private owner in the UK who would lend them one.

Jokingly, but they offered 30 pounds for it...

I think you might see the Veyron do what the Koenigsegg CCX did the first time it went around the track with the stig taking it at full throttle... Thats why they might be a little hesitant to throw a $1.4M (or whatever it costs) car around that track...

Nah, the Veyron already has a rather large spoiler. No lack of downforce there. Heck, the CCX is still over $600,000. I love the response that Christian von Koenigsegg gave though. Promptly designed a spoiler per the Stig's recommendations, fixed the car and gave it back for another test. I'll always view him favorably for that.

I also really respect Koenigsegg for their move. I would actually prefer the CCX to a Veyron any day...

With the Veyron pushing 1,000 hp can make for some pretty messy results if something were to go wrong...
