Quick questions...my rear tires need to be replaced. I am still on Pilot Sport RFT and don't think they're too bad. I don't think I'm willing to bite the cost of these things anymore so I'm thinking of going non-RFT.

1) Would it be okay to just change the rear to non-RFT for now? Front tires still have some life on them.

2) Which tire would you guys recommend? I have always been a fan of the PS2 but read some good reviews about the Pilot Super Sport. Any thoughts on these or on other tires?

Thanks!
I replaced my runflats with pilot super sports. Definitely worth every penny.

I'm not ballin like everyone else, I switched my rft when I did my 19's and went with General Tires and they were great in comparison to the bridgestone rft, and I run vredestein on my 20's which are pretty nice too. I went with General b/c the tread was graded at a 380AA

The August 2012 Car and Driver has a review of 9 performance tires tested on an E92. The Michelin Pilot Super Sport came in #1
Chip, thanks for the feedback. This is exactly what I was hoping to hear. I was really afraid that mixing RFTs with none-RFTs might be a problem. The PSS seems to be an excellent value.

This will be the route I take now but just the rears for now. Time for a few burnouts before I get some new shoes.

Was anyone out at the Delta Autocross today at NOLA motorsports? Very fun track/event. Results are below for anyone that attended. Can't wait for the next event. Oh, and the Elantra Type-R listed in the results is actually a 135i lol

I had to go there to work a triathlon it was this past weekend, I did see on FB that you checked in at the halal guys cart on 53 when I was about to pass out and my hotel was the hilton next to it haha. I really don't have time to do anything fun when I there. Its work from 8am to 8pm everyday in the sun and when I am done I shower and pass out.

Yeah they had a car meet down there and everyone raves about the Chicken and Rice so I went over that way. It was crazy to see the purple and orange E90's plasti dipped in person. Definitely an East Coast thing lol. Plus my iPhone decided to take a shit on me so I had to go to that 24/7 Apple Store right next to Central Park and get a new phone. It was a crazy weekend for me I'll say. You're still in trouble for not telling me you were in NYC!
