E90 Roof Rack

Hi Folks

Ive been tasked with getting a roof rack and bike carriers for the Bimmer.

I think ive narrowed it down to Thule. but this is where i tripped up! You know when you get a question that is so blindingly obvious.... that it stumps you!!

Whilst searching for roof bas, it asks what type of car it is, easy one, but then it says, With fix points, without fix points, or standard roof rails.

Fix points.... im pretty sure my car has them, if ive got the terminology correct! The four bits i can remove from my roof.

Im assuming this is what they mean? Im just baffled by the choice of a car without fixpoints, surely they all do? Ive never had a car that didnt?! Apart from my Supra, and perhaps the P1!

Anyway, after this, does anyone have any recommendations for roof bars and carriers, its for two mountin bikes for now, but with the possibilty of two extra down the line!

I looked at roof bars before fitting a detacheable towbar and using a Thule towbar mounted carrier.

Much easier to use than roof bars and the car is more versatile with the towbar.
