October 2nd Malibu meet and canyon drive!!

Hello again everyone!!!

This will be the Fourth aka #4 Malibu meet and canyon drive!.
The first and second one was a great turnout and it was very fun. I'm happy it went very well. As far as the second one goes some people got lost in the drive. Please note this is not a novice canyon drive. It is slightly advanced. Please have good tires and a full gas tank ready! Any type of suspension mods will help.

Where?: Malibu California zip code 90265. very front/back of the Ralphs parking lot address. 23841 Malibu Rd.

When?:October 2nd 5PM-6:30PM we will be leaving at 6:30 to take the drive and will not wait for anyone past this time. I as a local do not support Sunday driving what so ever.
There are too many bikers, out of towners and police out. Sunday is just a horrible day of choice to go driving in Malibu. So I thought Friday around a time every one is off work will do. I figure we hangout for a bit. Take some pictures, talk about our rides.
Around 6:00PM we will make the drive up Las Flores Cyn Rd. Than we will drive through Piuma which mergs into Malibu Canyon/Las Virgenes Canyon.
Once at the bottom we can either decide to part ways or continue on merging into mullholland dr going north ending out at County Line ( if we decide to contunue this part of the drive will take at least an hour ).

For those of you who were at the last two or three meets you know the course we plan to drive.
For all the new people just follow us and be careful. Drive safely and respectfully. Always look hundreds of feet ahead of you

Be prepared to see an amazing sunset and be camera ready. Lots of photo ops on this drive!.

I just installed my Bilstiens PSS9 coilover set today and wanna test them out badly..Badly..

Hope you guys have fun. Stay safe newbs

i'm confused, you're talking about sunday being too crowded but you're going at rush hour...? i mean, i agree, i ride my bike on the weekends, i never take my car but 6:30 doesn't sound like a great time either, especially for those of us who work

I can't even make it out to Malibu by 6:30.
Friday evening traffic is going to be horrible.

The canyon we drive you will probably see 1 car the entire time

Sure it's rush hour to drive to get to Malibu. But not once your on the canyon

. Trust me I live here and I know when the best times to do this are at. To bad you can't make it

But even at 2pm when I drive to work there is bad traffic on the 101 405 and 5.
If you were to try this on a Saturday evening it would probably be smarter. There are always less weekend drivers on evenings.

At least you have a really good route! Cause even thought it's going to be a bitch for people to come out they still will.

I picked Fridays for a reason. In Malibu Saturday and Sundays are the worst days to EVER go here. To many out of towners and n00bs trying to drive there cars or bikes and owning them selfs in every canyon. Plenty of extra cops out as well. Traffic will be bad on the 101 and 405 yes. But I do wait past 6:30PM for people who say there going to come. We leave no one behind as long as the person is in traffic and says there going to be there. We wait.

So I didn't get any videos of the driving this time. ( had no one in my car to film ). And no one else was ready to film either

BUT I did get tons of pictures before we left.
I just want to say thank you all for the people who kept it safe, drove with the group and had fun

. That's what it's all about! stickin together.
Without further ado I give you pictures!.

p.s. The guy in the new vett was one of my oldschooll childhood friend. He hasn't taken it on the canyons yet and came with us for fun
