I attempted install in the freezing cold today. Cut both holes on my bumper, thought I had it right. Went to an exhaust shop, they fit Cyba's titanium tips in the openings I cut, which fit snug, but then when I arrived home to install the diffuser, I realized the tips are too far apart by about .25-.5''. I was charged 2 hr labor @ 89/hr so around 180 for the welding....
I am hoping to 'mod' the cf diffuser to get it to fit b/c theres no way I'm paying another 100 to reweld the tips....my stupid mistake... |

should look awesome 335..just as pdjafari pointed out, you're better off bringing the diffuser when you're getting the exhaust installed so they can adjust the welding to fit snugly with the diffuser..good luck man and do post pics when they're done!!

Didn't you order the OEM M-Technik kit?
The diffuser shown above is for the standard bumper, not for M-Technik i think.

modding the hamann diffuser is a tough job - given its in cf, even harder prob more than $100 to do it well
prob easier to mod the tip positioning - that's what i did to get my bastuck to fit into the hamann

there is a thread on here (forgot the op name tho) that used a utility knife, he said it goes thru the bumper like butter. He wrapped a stretched out coat hanger around his quad tips and used it as a template for the cut. looked pretty good in the pics.

i bought the harmann style quad diffuser from taiwan. excellent product for the money but it is too short from the insides of the exhaust cutouts and wont fit. i have schnitzer quads and they are wider apart than hamann exhausts. gutted!!
