There have been many rumors flying around. When will the ordered Status-1 E93's be released from the VPC to the trucking companies?? We know pricing, we have our Production Numbers, are tracking the ships... but when oh when will our cars be at the dealership? That is the question!

I am starting this thread for ALL E93 owners who are awaiting their new bundle of joy's arrival. I have officially heard from my CA that the first date the cars will be released to the trucking company is the 24th. However, in going through other threads for similar coordinated relases by BMWNA (e90, M5, Z4, 6 Series) I have uncovered that sometimes BMWNA releases these cars a wee bit earlier.

What is your dealer telling you? Where is your car currently? There are a few members on this site that have their cars coming into the port on March 10th. Mine is scheduled to be at Port Humene on 3/12.....

Will try to get some info from my CA this weekend; I've heard April 2 also as the "global release date" as I've posted elsewhere.

Here's the Integrity's location; the East Coast is in site...read that they made the Charleston stop earlier and Baltimore later.

Elektra is scheduled to reach Port Humene on 3/12... let's see how long it takes for them to get it to me!

The ship for my car is scheduled to arrive at the South African Harbour on 26th March 2007 ... so it looks like early April for me ... not too happy bout that ... considering that my order and allocation was placed on 22 Dec 06 ... i cant track my ship ...

i do hope its ealier ....

My Dealer told me April ... so i guess it would be in line with the 2 April global release ... there is one in Cape Town ... flying down there tomorrow and will see if its true ...

Now the only problem. The car was actually ordered for my mother. Still love mine, but thinking that the covert would be that much nicer this summer. Oh well, may have to make a trade.

i hate the Spanish port of Satander right now ... delaying things ... ... why must it take them 4 days to load goods????????

BTW a few E93's in South Africa ... all of them BMW's cars for press releases etc

Spoke with CA today; she knows of no official global release date. Car due into Charleston today/tomorrow.

MSRP 58-59K. Trade in value of '04 330 so-so.

Weather warming up here.

Better than that ship that sunk a couple of years ago with BMW's and (I think) Volvos or Saabs on board. I think it may have been on its way to Africa, too.

Just got back from a *$ coffee run; had my car washed yesterday and it's sunny this morning. Gonna miss mystic blue--it's an awesome color. Looked at a bunch of S Graphite sedans yesterday--there's definitely purple in the mix.
