wow...you do know that the dealer will not say anything to you if they saw it..which they are looking for specifically..they just take note of it and if a warranty claim arises then they say yeah it was probably caused by the modification you had on the vehicle..bmw will not deny regular service..the will only deny warranty claims that may pertain to your turbos and powertrain..seriously just take it off

DENY DENY DENY and unless they took pictures if there's an issue I'll take it out, bring it in and say sorry, no did I have anything there.

Unless they called me on it at the service time and we BOTH looked at it SA and I well then it wasnt there

that is cool brotha...they will DENY DENY DENY your warranty..they dont have to take a picture, they just have to see it was installed..i am just posting this to prevent otherz from doing it as it is really easy to do a quick spot check to find a jb+ or sstt...and unless you have some deep pocketsp pockets and a good legal team they will keep denying you with or with out a picture..the point is to everyone else take out any tune unless you dont care about your warranty

+1 All they have to do is say no. Then you are stuck either paying for whatever warranty work you went in for. What are you going to do, get a lawyer and sue them for your money back? Unless you blow your engine, its going to cost more to sue than to simply eat the cost.

With the item being so easy to remove, I don't know why you would ever leave it in. Hell, the hole purpose of the JB+ is that it is easy to remove. Otherwise you would be running JB3, Procede or possibly the GIAC flash.

Garage List
They're way too lazy to look for a tune in there unless they are forced to look for one.
They would be forced to look for one if you blow a turbo or you have a leak.

Otherwise, they are regular human beings that just want to get the job done with and go home...not sit there looking for ways to fk you over.

I have 1 friend that works at BMW and one that works at Mercedes.
Both have been techs for over 5 years.

That's nutz not to take it out. Total turnaround on removing it the slow way is maybe 10-15 minutes.
