Long Cranking!

Hey guys i need some help...I've been having a long cranking when i start my car lately. It doesn't do it all the time but once in a while. I drive 07 e90 335i and i think HPFP has been replaced under warranty idk..i have to call dealership tomorrow and find out since i bought this car used. Does anyone know whats the problem here? It's not throwing any codes at all and it's pissing me off

because they're not going to do anything unless it will throw codes or something.

I won't be able to tell you what's wrong but even if it's not throwing a code they will still look into it if that happens all the time, clearly something is wrong and they can't say it's fine, just wait and see what happens man

I recently had a similar issue, for me it turned out it was time for a new battery. Does it ever not want to start?

any squeaky belt like noises under the hood? could be your starter like thecooltype says

Could be anything but if you smell raw fuel & a puff of white smoke when it catches its the injectors; one or more are leaking.

I told my dealer I had long cranks and they replaced the hpfp no questions asked.

Recently battery has been replaced so i don't think its battery problem. The car will start but just long cranking.

But, OP, from what i've heard, the HPFP is usually the culprit here.
