E90/91 LCI Headlights

As per the title, I'm after a pair of LCI Halogen Headlights.

I want a pair that either have no damaged lugs or that have already been properly repaired.

If anyone has a pair going, please let me know and I'll most likely have them off you.

I'm still toying with the idea of the full xenon retrofit, but even using aftermarket bulbs and ballasts it still going the be silly expensive. The flippin lights with nothing in them still go for daft money!

Anyhoo.. availability will dictate which way I go.

Cheers!

+1.
I have been looking for LCI halogens for about a month now and no success.
At one stage, I thought to go for depo V2, but later thought to wait.

Oh and don't forget you might need a new FRM for the self levelling bit. Apparently you don't know until you come to code it. Not sure why though.. Would have thought it would just code like any other module?

I noticed on those lights he said he wanted £570 and that they were from an 09 plate car?!

youre right but as they are pre lci they cant of been from an 09 plate as i think someone had him over.
I think my frm will be fine as i have done the lci conversion so led lights and no errors for the reduced voltage to run them and my car is fully specced up so should be ok.

It's plenty LCi halogens here in Poland for sale in quite nice prices. Retrofitting only xenon lights is not a problem, buy a pair of xenon headlamps with harness and bulbs, buy a cable and do it for yourself or when you are afraid of it ( yes you can badly mess your modules) i can do it for you via skype or teamviewer for a small payment ( as well as update to newest car software).
When you want full retrofit with headlamps washers and self levelling its quite tricky but you dont have to buy another FRM - you need just coding, of course when you want AHL xenons ( with cornering lights) you need FRM 2 with AHL function.

Xenon lamps ( with harness and bulbs) is about 500 pounds for pre-lci, and about 800-950pounds for LCI .

LCI halogens is about 250pounds

( these are my prices) shippement is about 50-100 pound i think

Every lights that BMW is putting to their cars is LHD-RHD reversible, there is a small leaver to change it
You can find it in your car's manual

Firts i must asked DHL or any other company how much they will charge for shipping it from Poland to UK.

What headlamps you need? LCI halogens, LCI xenons or pre-lci xenons ?

EDIT:

Just found, sadly you can only made flat light pattern to LHD headlights ..
so ( light patterns):

LHD : __/ __/

RHD : \__\__

LHD-RHD : ------

like this [img]

if thats good for You we can make a deal.

Tommorow evening, after work I can try to do that with my headlamps and i post photo of how it will look like

Hi Shadow,

Sadly to pass our MOT road worthiness test over here we need lights with a proper RHD beam pattern. The lever is if you go from the uk to a LHD country like France to stop dazzling them.

Are you confirmed about this?
That means any LHD lights with RHD switch will result MOT failure in UK?

Thanks.

As far as I know yes. Also, pretty sure that only xenons have the lever.

As for the thread, I picked up a pair with one broken lug from a scrap yard in birmingham. £240 the pair and he plastic welded the lug back on for nowt.

They took an hour to get the things off mind you!

Still, that's my weekend planned now!

Is there any website or contact number to find another pair?

Aye, well chuffed. I was going to use the saving to buy the DCAN cable but I think the mrs has other plans. That'll teach me for telling her.

I searched for breaking e90 on eBay, found a 318i that had been burned out. eBay ad had folding mirrors, bumper and engine on the ad, I rang them and they said they still had the lights. Happened to be driving that way with work so stopped by.

I'd just suggest looking for more E90 breaking and phone them up. I was surprised how cheap they were tbh. No other 3 series on the yard that I saw tho.

DCAN cable is not expensive tho I bought mine about year and a half ago for about 130 pounds and have no problem at all, earlier i bought some DCAN from china but almost half of modules cant connect with it. Remember the cheaper you buy the first time, the most expensive it goes to make it work or repair what damage it can make.

If anybody interesting im selling newest drivers for almost every BMW models - new engine maps, new FRM driver abd also KOMBI module, CAS module , IHKA and many more drivers. Like in my sig

Ive just checked in my car and yes, xenons had flat pattern , i dont know about MOT but I have some customers from UK and Isle of Man and never have return. But AFAIK on Isle of Man you dont have to pass MOT, and this Guy from Cheshire was a car tradesman so i think he need to repair couple of cars fast and the price was important.
You need to ask in MOT if the flat beam is enough for pass.

Thanks mate.
My mrs has some other plans too.
As soon as I am done with those, I will start working on this project.
Are you getting the whiter halo lights as well?
Did you get Valeo or ZKW headlights? (Check the label on the headlights?)

Many thanks.

Mine are Valeo. What's the difference?

The only concern I have is getting the bumper off properly. None of the guides are all that clear, especially when it comes to headlight washer removal.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thats fine.
I was reading last night, as the white led for halo are different part number on real oem.
Apparently, I think, in USA there are valeo and ZKW lights but in UK, only Valeo for halogen and ZKW + Valeo for xenons.

I have removed the bumper, but as I do not have the washer, so hope somebody will be able to help you with that.

It's all good. I downloaded TIS and now have the official BMW guide including removal of washer covers.
