On the pre-lci E90, was anyone able to get the rear 3rd brake light tinted also? Seems like a lot of the tint jobs on the thread had it cut out. Is it not possible to get that area tinted?

5% Tint all the way around except front windshield (Maybe 30% soon). I'm from NJ and we have the strictest tint laws, so far no problems with cops.

Tint :20% back windshield. 35% side windows. 50% front windshield.

Wish you went darker on the sides/back or on the windshield? I'm looking to tint soon and was going to start with 5% all around and wait to see how I like that before doing the windshield.

Also, how is night driving with 50% on the windshield? Can you tell any difference at all. I had 40% on one of my cars but the headlights were no where near the performance of BMW's.

The windshield I do wish I went darker to 40-35% and for the sides i'm not a big fan of darker shades for the back windows. I like when they are all the same %, if I were to have it tinted again I would do 5% all around with 40-35% on the windshield. Night driving has been fine with the windshield I can see out perfect with the nice bright white headlights. Hope this helps!

So I went through all 16 pages here, still debating what to put on my car

I'm going to iTint in Vaughan area in Ontario, they have llumar tint.

I think 20% is too dark and 35% is not dark enough, I will see what they say when I go in today...

Its a bsm with white leather interior bimmer

Did you end up using iTint in Vaughan? If so, what shade(s) did you get and how would you rate the quality of the installation?

Hey yes I did go to iTint, I went with a 35% tint. Although I have white interior and I should have went a bit darker, but anyways it is much better then no tint at all. Installation is near perfect, just one minor mistake on my drivers side window but it is not noticeable at all unless I really look.

It was 30% all around, but since that picture I had the 30% stripped and retinted 5% on the very rear and 15% on the doors, I like it much better. The 30% wasnt dark enough for me
