I actually have like 40 gigs worth of videos lol. I was gonna try to piece something together for the write up but i dont know what the hell im doing in terms of video editing so i left it for a later time.

It would be more action then romance though.

It was actually a 335i msport. They dont make the IS in EU. It also had fogs in the front which only the vert IS has and the coupe doesnt, also the Mtech diffuser in the back gave it away.

Still very nice though.

Great writeup and pictures. Fantastic chronicling!

We wanted to do an ED for my 335is, but the timing just didn't work out. You've now convinced me that an ED is the only way to go for our next Bimmer.

That picture of the speedo pegged at 160mph made me envious. Damn! Don't think I've even exceeded 100 mph on my is.

Sorry to hear that it didnt work out but as you said next time make a push for it and do ED. You wont regret it.

As for the 160mph it felt kind of scary in the beginning but at the end of the trip on my way to Frankfurt i would keep it there without hesitation for a LONG time.

Btw i highly recommend the procede on the IS if you're even semi on the fence about tunes or modding. It makes the car feel tremendous.

I can attest to the Mt. Lemmon's drive. The sound of engine's rev and the road make it a very fun drive.

Autobahn is like the highway to heaven. I envy your experience!!

Ill put one up. Cold start in the morning showing it some revs on map 3 in the procede makes it sound like an animal.

Honestly the autobahn is great and i loved it being the speed freak that i am but honestly the "off the beaten path" roads feel more like a a highway to heaven. Autobahn is great but after driving a few thousand miles on it, it can get a bit boring. However roads in the alps NEVER EVER get boring. Always a new twist or awesome view waiting around the corner.

Its actually not that bad in germany, it was 8 bucks a gallon when i was there. Holland was 10 and easily the most expensive place for gas out of all the places i visited. Poland funny enough was the cheapest.

I know how much gas is in Germany there sweet cheeks. I am still there. The cheapest gas I ever bought lately was in the middle east. Pick a country.
