Yes, they will be able to do that as well. If you need more info, send eric@helix a PM for more info.

I'm guessing about an hour? Since they're only limiting this to 8 cars. And yes, the price includes everything.

Please let me know if you're a definite, since Helix can only take 8 cars and we have 6 cars confirmed.

I am considering the 8th slot, just trying to work out some other obligations. I don't think I could come until at least 3 or 4 pm unless I bring 2 of my kids with me, but don't want to sit there for hours with them (other Dads will understand). Hope I don't miss out and this fills up. Maybe I should slot for the last of the day? Approximately how long does it take to do each car?

Okay, put me in for the 8th spot, can arrange time slots so we all do not have to hang the entire day, maybe some people can, but I would not mind having a 2 hour window to show up at.

I'm not sure how long it will take. Eric from Helix is on vacation right now and won't be back until Monday. Hopefully, he'll have time in between to answer some questions.

And if you want, I'll put you down as number 9. Since straightcashhomie (Saveth) is tentative.

I'll put you down for the 8th spot. And yes, I'll update time slots for everyone once I hear back from Eric.

Looks like it's all booked up for the walnut blasting.

You guys can still stop by to get coding, vinyling or just to hangout.

Bummer. Any idea what Helix charges to do the cleaning without the group buy? I need it done, and at some point need to make an appointment to get it done. Might have my plugs replaced at the same time.

Kev, I'll keep you posted. Once I get a confirmation from the other guys, it'll be a little easier to see if we can get you in or not. And straightcashhomie (Saveth) is tentative.

Thanks. My wife confirmed she will be home by mid afternoon (2 or 3), so I might be able to come kidless at that point (not sure how long Helix plans to be there doing this, I realize they have lives?). If I come in the morning I just have to bring my two sons, not a big deal, other than trying to entertain them and save my sanity!

I have been wanting to get this done since I picked up my CPO at 23k miles, so it's time! :P

I am confirming that I will be getting this service done..... I kinda agree we should have time slots to show up I don't want to be around too early if I'm say 5th in line.

Bimmer, I know the original limit was 8, but if Helix says they can fit in a 9th car later in the day on the 10th, please say so. My 535i will thank them!

Thanks,
Kevin

Yes, we're definitely going to set up time slots for everyone. I just have to wait until Eric gets back on Monday.

We'll know by Monday. Hopefully, they can squeeze you in, or one of the other guys back out.

Thanks, Bimmer. I have the money set aside, and am glad this is so close. Was thinking I might have to go ~125 miles or more, this is only 40 miles, so it's perfect. Would love to get a little more pep back into the old 535i (only mod is JB4).

Just start a new one for later in August. It'll fill up; especially if the price is brought down even further. Lol.

Do you know if its ok with Eric if I drop the car off the day before? I don't know what spot I am but if its too early I rather have the car there in his hands.

Eric is going to be back in the shop today. So, I'm sure he'll chime in when he checks this thread.

Hey bro did you get to talk with Eric about oil filter housing gaskets also? It shouldnt be too much additional $$ hopefully since pulling the manifold apart already allows easy access. Hopefully he can chime in on this and I'll order the part off tischer

Does blasting really make a difference? I've always been skepticle about it.

Everyone who's done it says the difference is crazy but, I guess it depends how dirty your valves are.
