Issue with Jb4 need advice

wasnt sure if this thread belonged in XI or N54 section so sorry if i put it in the wrong spot
So 2 weeks ago i got and installed the JB4 G5 and BMS DCI. 99% of the time so far i have been on map 4 (stock map). I have been trying to do a few launches on map 1 just to feel the difference but the few times i have tried (3 different days and i did let the car warm up) it just jerks foward, both my left and right turn signal on my dash go on, and then feels almost like its in limp mode until i let of the gas. Im not sure whats wrong. this is my first turbo car so forgive any noobishness. anyone know what the problem is?little info on the car. its 2008 335xi, only use 93 octane, has 45000 miles on it (got it almost 2 months ago so hasnt had any maintence from me yet), and im 100% sure that he jb4 and dci were.installed correctly.

The hazard flash is normally to twll you its warmed up or rev limit has been reached. Could it be that the rwv limit is set too low?

That's a little odd.

Have you tried re-uploading firmware and maps onto the JB4?

Usually if the JB4 is not hooked up correctly it either won't start or if it does it will but with a Check engine light and usually erratic performance.

To be fair iv had a limo.mode with no codes before and it ended up being a boost leak from my intercooler pipe popping off and also no code or light limo due to a faulty fan switch input. Very odd.

That wasn't my concern so much as sometimes the firmware can be corrupt upon delivery. Rare but possible. It's just the first thing to do in the check list when any glitch comes about in a tune.

Not so much related but how many miles are on your spark plugs? If over 25,000 miles you may want to consider new ones as you may get misfires if your spark plugs are old.

You shouldn't need to try 5.

So I just checked my codes again and now I have 3.
1. 2E8E - Intelligent battery sensor, communication
2. 30FE - Exhaust fume charger, high pressure
3. 3100 - boost pressure control, deactivation

What do I do?

okay. I just cleared my codes and drove for a bit and none of them came back. If they do come back though I am under warranty still so I guess I am going to be making a trip to the dealership

If you're having an issue you should do a CSV log and post that along with the codes on n54tech's support section. Anything else is a waste of your time.
