i just singed up for a 14day free trial with AISLIVE, and they called me this morning to confirm the information i made up when i filled out the application and the guy on the other end asked me some questions as well... anyway, they just e-mail me an username and a password a few hours ago so i'm able to track any vessel on earth...

here is the idea...

I will post the location of the vessel you want to know every day for 2 weeks, but you will have to promise me that you will sign up for this free trial and be a volunteer just like me.. and keep passing it forward. so someone on this forum will be able to track any vessel at anytime for everyone. I UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN!!! it's killing me not knowing where my vessel is!!!! let's pass it forward and let me know what vessel you want me to track for you... and also promise me that you will be the next volunteer!!!

Shark, when was your car built? Do you know the date it left the port? Mine finished production on April 17, also in South Africa. The phone number says it's still at the port (since April 22), but maybe it's wrong and my car is actually on a ship now. Maybe we're on the same one. I have a call in to my salesman, who's supposed to call me back tomorrow to clear this up.

Hi Just looked on the arrivals and no Grand Cosmo is due in. When did your car leave South Africa? It might be on another ship you have to figure around 40 days or more on water to your port Charleston.

ljk, mine too was complete on 4/17! Sales Advisor gave me the ship Grand Cosmo, probably your's too! USCgal, it is indeed on that ship, and, if you check the Port of Charleston web sit, it is scheduled to arrive on 5/12, right on schedule. In the previous post, it was tracked as I asked. Spoke to advisor today, and he said he should have it at dealership by 5/20 at the latest, due to its close proximity to Florida!

Thx for the tracking! I'm signing up now. Anyway, the bottom of the tracking you provided shows the final port as Jacksonville, FL on 5/11. I checked the Charleston port tracking site and it shows Grand Cosmo coming into their port on 5/12 discharging vehicles. If the ship does go to Jax first, why wouldn't it discharge my vehicle there? My sales advisor was sure that mine was getting off in Charleston. Just a little confused, I guess. What do you think?

My salesman told me that my car is supposed to be coming into New Jersey. Do you know if the Grand Cosmos is headed there after leaving Charleston?? Or do you know where I can find that out?
