335 E92 had gear shift problems...

but thanks to this forum I quickly diagnosed the fault and fixed it... Love this forum!

Fault: Drove fine in auto....Sports shift mode didnt work and whilst paddles functioned as far as changing gears, within 5 seconds or so of manually shifting the car would revert back to full auto again.

Solution: Wires under shifter lever had broken...
