Does anyone think the EZ Detail brush would have a problem getting behind the brakes on the stock 335xi rims? I have a cheapo brush that does a decent job of the spokes since they are fairly wide, but it can't get any further back.

It should be able to get in the back of those rims, just be aware that the splatter will be high with the close spokes. The Daytona Speed Master Brush has stronger bristles and should be better for the wheels. Detailers Domain has a really good spoke brush as well.

The EZ brush will work - I'm running the same wheels as winter setup on my XI and also use that brush. Get a good coat of wheel wax or sealant on the inside when you do a big detail - will aid greatly in keeping them clean.

As long as you clean your wheels frequently and keep them sealed or waxed, all you should need is soap, water, dedicated wheel sponge and a wheel brush like the EZ brush or Daytona.

You can clay your wheels twice a year and then re-seal.

The EZ brush is great but when cleaning the inner barrel it splatters like crazy. I learned my lesson.

OK. I just took delivery of my Daytona Speed Master wheel brush, and it says E-Z detail brush on the "shaft"??? Uh, did I miss something?? It has the red bristles, and I ordered it based on comments that it was more substantial than the EZ branded one.

I also ordered the small EZ detail brush from another company, and the shaft has the some EZ wording/markings as the Daytona brush! Did I not read something properly? I thought it was a completely different brand?

Garage List
daytona brush and original ez are the same brand. The daytona was just made purposely for wheels as the original brush was originally marketed as a motorcycle brush The only difference is the softer bristles and stronger handle. It is branded by same company. I have the daytona and is definately worth it. However, for $25 more the Ace Powersticks are the best IMO but you need an electric drill =)
