Fastest and most powerful n55 e92xi
Since the cobb AP was recently released for the n55, I haven't seen a thread for this so I figured I'd start one myself. Most n55 owners know that the n54 is superior in terms of tunability and the hp/tq numbers it can achieve compared to the n55 so I wanted to see what n55 owners with mods have accomplished so far.
So if you don't mind, go ahead and post the AWHP/AWTQ numbers you've achieved so far with a cobb AP tune (would also love to hear from vishnu/jb4 owners also) and bolt ons you have on your cars. Unfortunately, mine is still bone stock as I haven't gotten the time to throw any mods on my car but the first thing I'm looking to get is a cobb AP and a good FMIC. |

360 whp with 410 tq
Jb4 stage 2 with 40/60 E85 mix, BMS Intake, AR catless downpipes, I haven't heard too much about the numbers that people are getting with the Cobb AP tune. I'm very interested also to see the numbers people are getting because I'm thinking about switching sometime soon

Wow that's pretty impressive man. So roughly you're probably getting somewhere around 410whp/430wtq...that's insane. I didn't think the n55 would end up being this capable. BTW, are you xdrive or rear wheel?

for crank #'s it is acceptable to use 15% drive-train loss. I've seen many vendors on this board use that. but what matters is what's put down to the wheels

Im RWD. I'm pretty sure my o2 sensors were messed up when I got my dyno so my car wasn't really boosting. That was with the e85 which really made a difference. E85 makes the car a monster but I think it's now the cause of my car misfiring and needing new injectors lol

I have a 2012 335i (e92), auto, rear wheel drive and put down 360 rwhp and 454 rwtq
I had BMS catless downpipe, BMS stage 2 tune (G5 ISO), BMS intake, BMS 2.2 gallon trunk mount meth with 60/40 meth/water ratio, Helix intercooler, ER charge pipe, Alpina B3 flash & 93 octane gas. I just ordered Remus Race exhaust and will be getting some more dyno runs in probably mid to late June. Hope to also have a Quaife LSD in there by then and may go 80/20 on the meth ratio. I ran e85 in my car a few times (not during the dyno runs) and even though the power was great, the performance of my car was terrible. I will never run it again unless there is a whole new fuel system upgrade available which will include a fuel pump to support the ethanol. Hope this helps and it is somewhat frustrating when I could be close to 500 hp/tq with the same mods on an N54. Still love my car tho and the N55 is still a relatively new motor. It's time will come |

Mine 266whp / 352lbs feet. The guy ran it with DCT on which hurt the numbers. And it was a good old old Mustang AWD heartbreaker Dyno!
Sure it would be much higher on Dynojet but there you go Cobb Stage 1; 91 octane; BMS Charge pipe; aFe stage 2 intake; BMW performance Exhaust, PPK

Our numbers will never compare with the RWD N55 cars however this is what I got last summer:
2011 e92 335xi 6MT JB4 Stage 2 Map 2, BMS Intake, ER CP, AR DP and 94 octane gas 305 awhp and 407 awtq (Run 3 on image) For reference I did Run 1 with JB4 set at Map 0 (stock) just to see the difference between maps.

Question though, i thought a DME flash would require about 100 miles before it really take effect. Did you just install the map on the dyno and do the following runs? Id like to know what id get on a dynojet!

Not sure, this is what I got lol. I can say that it was pretty hot and humid that day. I also still have a full stock exhaust so maybe that secondary cat on our xdrive exhausts is a limiting factor.
