Warranty question

Hey does anyone know if BMW will replace my steering wheel trim because it has a deep scratch in it nothing serious just wondering

Nope. They wont.

Its wear and tear...not covered by warranty.

2016 BMW 340i  [0.00]
in the back seats where the little trash can is below the air vents, the trim was peeling and they completely replaced it so they probably will do the same for the steering wheel

Wait i should of clarified this but its the actual steering wheel not the inside black trim with the buttons

Well, I'm assuming that you put the scratch into the steering wheel. That would make it wear and tear and you doing something to it. Doubt they'll replace it for free.

Yes but it is not deep or bad at all it actually looks as if it is peeling

Just had mine replaced this week for my soft touch trim piece peeling. I had a small tear in the wheel and they actually replaced the entire wheel and that wasnt even what I was complaining about so I was super happy.

Well if it looks like its peeling because its peeling they might. If you slipped with your knife while splitting open a blunt and thats how it got there, probably not. No way to know unless you go in and talk to them.
