335i - I-75 in the mornings?
Who's 335i with a wide body kit drives down I-75 going North every morning.
I have been trying to get a better look, but I keep passing them at the Sawgrass toll. That is one sweet looking ride. Congrats whoever you are!

Florida and wide body kit, that must be Ricky Cruz. By passing them at the toll, I'm assuming you mean that you have a Toll Pass and he is stopped paying the toll. Judging by your ride, there's no way that you could actually "pass" him I have an 05 Cobra myself. How's the gear upgrade? Any other upgrades planned? |

You nailed it, I have a toll pass. I heard that thing runs 11's or something - so I doubt I'll be anywhere close. A buddy of mine is running mid 12's on stickys with the same mods that I have so I am way behind Mr. Cruz's wild ride.
I am definitely planning on more mods. I want to start taking it to Homestead and Sebring so the next set of mods are suspension based. I am supposed to go sit with the Steeda boys next week to plan things out. I will tell you an S/C is on the radar - I can't let all the Bimmer boys have all the fun with forced induction.

Who knows? no official numbers yet. We need Walked U to post up some info.
The only way to run 11s out of this car is to run the latest AA or v2 software with custom tunes for DP, exhaust, and FMIC. And even that will barely get you to 11 territory. Unless the v2.0.1 or 1.5 will bring something new to the table.

I thought that a few of you guys were already into mid to low 12's and some bad boys were in the 11's.
These little 335i's are impressive. I remember when I first drove bimmermansfl's - I was totally blown away by how smooth it pulled. I still prefer my mustang hands down, but I give credit and respect where its due.

Typically when you buy a supercharger kit, it brings everything you need. INjectors, fuel pump, hoses, and some even a tuner. And depending on which kit you go with 500rwhp is not too far off. Although the suggested limit on stock internals is 430-450RWHP. There are a few kits from whipple and kenne belle that with the optional smaller pulley are running 475rwhp on 13psi.
I will tell you this 4.10's, Cold Air Intake, custom tune, and some Mickey's in the rear and you run high 12's. That's all for less than 2K. Here is the timeslip from one of the guys that is currently running a similar setup: From dragtimes:http://www.dragtimes.com/Ford-Mustan...slip-8449.html

No you don't understand. He didn't even buy a kit. He just bought a supercharger. and only a $700 supercharger at that...the quality def. isn't there in my opinnion.

That my friend is a very stupid move! It is pretty messed up that people are being cruel like that. I don't want to see anyone blow their engine. We are all car enthusiasts right? Have you tried telling him or does he just ignore it?
