Excellent point bro, and it won't matter in the end, the victory is already won!
The pissy atheists can't silence the Gospel, and all the intolerant projectile hatred of the secular Baldwinists at the ACLU won't change the truth one bit. HE IS RISEN!

Man, oh, man...you are 12, aren't you???
No one is trying to silence you here, that is what your Church did when they programmed you. Don't forget to leave your $10 in the dish because he will punish your sins...

In Jesus we have victory over sin and death. The deceiver, Satan, is a defeated foe, though still a grave danger on the loose.

What does a ten spot have to do with anything? I assume you are referring to a church collecting a tithe or offering? That has nothing to do with victory. Could you provide verifiable quotes to support your contention if you think it does?

If you're talking about Tithes, The tithe has 3 purposes.

1. Support of the Children
2. Support of the Elderly
3. Support of Widows

Yes God requires the believe to give his tithes. Will you go to hell if you don't give. NO. Because you can't give your way into heaven.

God looks at the heart.

There are alot of skeptics of Christianity that want to lump us all into one category. And that is very dangerous. I would be advantageous for the skeptic to base his/her view on a one on one to really see what a Christian is about. You might be supprised.

Dont believe everything that the Media tells you about Christians.

You forgot the biggest one .... support the Pastor! There is only one denomination that doesn't have paid clergy.

What does the church do? They buy Bentleys and build bigger churches!! Jim and Tammy Fae Bakker will tell you in your face you're going to hell if you don't give.
Are u going to believe what Jim and Tammy say or are u going to believe what God Says.

And as far as Bentley's go. All pastors don't have Bentleys. And if some do it's on them.

You assume all widows get life insurance
Social Security is A Joke, by the time we get SS it will be depleted

God, who? Never heard him/her say anything, so nothing to believe there...
Bible is written by humans and in no way what something up there would say/think.

As for the other two (freaks) -- they found a bunch of goats to take their $$$$ easily...

Wow that was deep statement.

It amuses me that you take pop shots at Christians for something that we believe in. If it bothers you that much why don't u ignore that which you don't believe?

I am not taking shots at anyone -- you're free to believe in anything. I do believe in something, too, but I don't go to Church and sing and dance there, and give money to that business...

As I pointed out many times -- it was never proven or opposite that God exists, so, there's still a chance for you believers and other non-believers...

But when you say -- believe what God says -- I cannot accept that since I have not hear God speak...

James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

Because Christians believe in help for the helpless, this is largely why we started such government programs. It's unfortunate that there is so much reliance on government doing this now. It is nameless and faceless and just a check in the mail. It is best when there are personal relationships that come of charity.

Ok I see where you're coming from. But Check this. Although the Bible written by men it is the Word of God because it was inspired by God.

Where we differ is that you believe that the Bible was written and thought of by man. I'm not here to prove God to you or anyone else. That's not my job. But I can tell you what I believe.

History has shown that religion is something that is often FORCED upon, and not by choice. Ask the Native Americans, or ANY thrid world country for that matter.
I call those people fanatics. Every group suffers from extremism but you don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

If were to put every politician in the same category I wouldn't even Vote.

You made a claim with no support for your argument. Don't the atheists think that everything has to have a proof? Where is your proof?

Then you're operating under the assumption that the Christian Faith is contaminated, communicably deseased water of which I don't share the same view.

I never paid attention to the Bakkers. Did you?

The authority for argument in this matter is the Bible. You would need to make your citations from the Bible to be a strong argument. Yet words out of context also can be very deceptive. So, you would need to have a well-developed and supported argument for it to go anywhere.

Should we judge atheists on the actions of some of them? I think not.
Should we judge Christians on the actions of some of them? I think not.

How much should we digress in this thread? What was the original post about?

Do you think Mormons are Christians? I am not decided on this yet, though I have a strong expectation to conclude they are not.

So you apparently don't like it when anybody but atheists proselytize.
