I've told you, NO! I have some very close friends that are Mormon, and being the good LDS members they are, they are always trying to convert me. I guess I love my tea to much .... Also, I do live in AZ, which has one of the largest Mormon communities.

When I first started looking for a church in the '80s I worked on Sundays. It made it difficult. That should be great once you have cut out that Sunday work to be able to find a good church. Once I was able to adjust my Sunday work schedule, I visited with all kinds of churches. There were a lot of good ones. And then there were some that were not Christian as it turned out.

Are you undecided about a denomination?

No, I call myself more spiritual then Religious. I don’t need to be lining the pockets of some denomination that wouldn’t know the truth if it bit them in the butt!

It's really quite a bit better to be in fellowship. When considering matters of faith, you benefit from the perspective of others. No one of us can discern truth from error 100% of the time. Together, at least we can develop some kind of concensus.

Oh really, then why is there a million different denominations? And who gives them the right to say who is Christian, and who is not? I find it laughable how one denomination can have such bigotry against another. I find more truth just by observing so called Christians’.

When I say we can develop some kind of concensus, I mean those who accept the same sources of authority (such as the Holy Bible in a specific translation). And also in discussing personal experience of failure and victory. It helps to recreate together, too. All of this is more productive locally than on the WAN.

On a side note ... have you ever been to Star, ID? Grand Dad and Dad grew up there ..... I'm sure it has changed in 70 years.

Yes. Star is not far away. It has grown quite a lot. Star just annexed much more county land. They are also working on zoning for the expansion into the foothills. Much of the upper income people around here live in Star.

Er... this response applies better to Eagle than Star. But parts of Star is just about as upscale. It is a few more miles away from Boise than is Eagle. You go through Eagle to get to Star. Star has a rather diverse population.

My dad was born in Eagle .... I haven't been there in over 35 years, and when I was there, it was all farm land and a few houses .... great part of the country .... should have told my dad to buy some land there back then! Worth a fortune now ...

Im Christian!

Was raised by two Catholic parents, that jumped around when I was a child looking at Lutheran and several other Christian variants. When my parents got divorced my mother went back to her Catholic faith and had my sister and I go through Caticism and my father found non-denominational Christianity to fit his needs. I have a good general base of a lot of different Christian religions and feel that it has only helped me with my faith. Today I attend a non-denominational Church here in Vegas and use to attend one in Mission Viejo, CA when I use to live there.

God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost are all the same God. I have never tried to explain this to a secularist before. Let me try.

H2O is found in three forms: solid, liquid, and vapor. God is known in three forms. That's God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son of God, and the Holy Ghost. You could certainly find fuller explanations than this. Google "trinity" and you are bound to find a lot of information.

There are many names for God that describe his character.
