My other half has one of these and they're good fun. Bit more practical than a normal 2 door given it has the suicide doors. Hers has covered 105k miles and is at the end of its life but if you can find a low mileage one (and for 4k you should!) then you should have some fun in a relatively rare car when compared to most others...
Heads-up - the AT link seems to show your postcode

YES!

306 GTi-6 is an epic car. We had one for thrashing around the Fens back roads, was amazing and kept coming back for more until....

We ended up upside down in a ditch

Any RX8 that isn't fucked is just having a short break from it's normal state of being fucked. "They are best described as flawed" a quote from a friend that was the service manager at a Mazda main dealer several years ago.

When you decide to move that on please drop me a message as i'll possibly take it off your hands.

You would be surprised. They are just super cheap now. Having said that the fact of the matter is they were fucked before they got of the paper the designs were drawn on. That rotary engine with only 2 oil injectors is doomed from the start.

I had an RX8 which I turboed and modded (kept stock externally) to within an inch of it's life. Unfortunately that inch was on the wrong side.

It did do very well though and lasted for 67k miles (30k with mods) and was a lot of fun with 360bhp!!

I don't regret all the money my wife says I wasted for a second

It turned out gloss paint (oil based) does not come off full stop no matter what you clean it with. Ended up being total respray, new plastic trim, new lights new windscreen -4.5k total. Even the mini next to it had 2.5k's of damage.

Will be a while hopefully. Bought it to get back into self-servicing etc. Gearbox oil to be done first. Then will start on all the bushes and suspension. etc But if i see a good one going, will let you know.
