There is no shipping, it's loaded at the dealer (Tischer only) or sent in to Dinan ('08 models) for a reflash.

It's overnight mail, very quick turnaround. Someone already did this, I forget the thread.

So for non-locals, what's to prevent Tischer from accepting 2007 ECUs that are overnighted to them?

We sure can....at the special price that's up and running on the website. The cool thing is, there's no specific # of buyers needed!

I noticed a thread in a different forum talking about a 30 - 40% markup on Dinan parts when sold through authorized Dinan dealers.......this couldn't be further from the truth. The fact of the matter is, if we sold these at the price mentioned earlier in this thread....we'd be loosing money on each reflash.

We are actually doing our first one as we speak.....I'm outta here to take a ride in it....wooohooo!!!

I'm speechless myself. It was literally amazing, and we had 3 guys in the car. Pulls like a freight train and just keeps on pulling. This is the best bang-for-the-buck performance upgrade that I've ever seen/felt. It's a steal!!

How do you compare this to the other products on the market (assuming you've rode in other similarly equipped cars)?

I can't say that I've been in too many other comparable cars to this one(It's right up there with the 997 Turbo with torque-feel to be honest). I've driven 996/997 Turbos/GT3's, Dinan M3's/5's/6's, Audi S5's etc. The torque is really pretty amazing, it just pulls and pulls and pulls. This isn't a sales pitch, it's just my opinion.

85 hp + 121 lbs./ft. + full factory warranty(w/ oil cooler) for $1,899.00 = no brainer to me???

Of course, as are all factory horsepower/torque ratings.

From what we know, the '07 335i's w/ sport package and manual trans. had a factory oil cooler. Yours is a step, so it probably doesn't have one. You can do the Dinan flash, but if there are any damages as a result of the software, it will not be covered under warranty. The only way, at this point, to keep your warranty would be to purchase the Dinan Oil Cooler that we also have on special. Dinan will warranty the software(including any consequential damages) as long as there is their oil cooler or BMW's original factory oil installed on the vehicle.

I cant' wait to see the 0 to 60 and the 1/4 time for this. Oh and since you have to send in the ECU if you got the 08, how many days it will take for completion?

We estimate 4 - 6 business days for completion on the -08's. We are anxiously awaiting 0 - 60 and 1/4 mile times as well!!!

Hi Evan, how would you handle out of town sales? We ship our ECU (2007) to you to get it flashed? My guess is that given the vagaries of warranty repairs from afar, that it makes more sense to get Dinan stuff from a (relatively) local dealer, so you guys at Tischer are working with local customers only.

My dealer is not a dinan dealer of course. thanks for helping us and great prices.

im very interested aswell in the lease question. i have a lease and want to get the Dinan flash!
i have the oil cooler and my car is a 07 335i coupe
the power is very good, the price is reasonable with the warranty still in tact, but the lease is holding me back.
my bmw dealer is not a dinan dealer aswell.
do i need to re-flash back to stock before i bring back my lease car?
will my bmw dealer take the car back no questions asked with the flash?
will i be charged if i bring the car back to my non dinan bmw dealer in flashed form?
thanks alot

^im not sure how BMW end of lease returns are, but on the nissan/infiniti lease return they get a 3rd party company to just go over basic things. (took about 15 min). Looked in the engine bay and asked if i had any mods (i did, i had pulleys an engine dampener and silicon hoses all over. I even painted my engine bay and he didnt notice. Not sure about a standalone ECU or a piggyback though...I would assume as long as no CEL/errors are being thrown you should be ok...??

Tischer,

is there any way of just ordering the lines of the oil cooler or is it a package deal only?

Right now it looks like it's just a kit from Dinan. We'll investigate more and let you know!
