My V2 datalogging, 15.2psi @ 90% on 93 octane

Filled up with Sunoco 93 octane and went to do some datalogging after hitting 50 miles on the V2. Did the unplugging for an hour before putting the new map on. Here is my 2nd datalog with maximum boost of 15.2 psi in both 2nd and 3rd gear. I hit 14.9psi on the first run. Why am I getting this high on 93 octane and only 90%? I was really hoping to go to 94%.

But am I really getting as much power as people on 94%? Is the power tied to the torque % or the boost psi? Also, is the 15.2psi a real problem?

You didn't install the speed limiter defeat? I have torque settings up to 94 and only see 15 peak boost....i guess each car is different and maybe altitude effects it too..

My car is the same way, at the default settings I automatically boost to 15 psi. As long as your getting the 15 psi, dont worry about the torque setting number. Your good!

How did you know I didn't do the speed limiter defeat? The reason I didn't do it yet was because I was afraid if I had to use the bypass plugs that I'd have an open circuit. Didn't know the ramifications so I figured I'd wait to do the speed limiter defeat until V2.03 or whatever needs the speed sensor input comes out.

So I am getting the same amount of tq and hp as people with 15psi at 94%? If that's the case how is the 93 octane helping me, I thought it made it so I could put the adjustable torque up higher?

Also, do I have to worry about hitting 15.2 on my run? I thought we weren't supposed to go above 14.9-15?

Even though the cars are the same there are slight variances from car to car.

All raising the Torque % does is Increase the boost, so you at 90% and someone else at 94% both running 15psi will make the same power.

The 93 Octane lets you run 15psi safely, it also lets you get away with a few extra degree's of timing vs. someone on 91 Octane.

Makes sense to me! So 15.2 psi is ok on 93 octane? Shiv?

btw, I knew my car felt pretty strong before the datalogging, I was just hoping that was only at 13-14psi and I could get even more, haha. But no complaints on the power, V2 is sooooooooo smooth compared to my V1.47!

15.2psi is a big on the high side. Try to keep it in the 14.5-15psi peak. Drop the values by 1-2% and you'll be fine.

That's what I was afraid I'd hear. Instead of going up I gotta go down! Oh well I guess better safe than sorry. Is there any chance it was because I did this testing RIGHT at 50 miles? Will more time to adapt lower these values at all?

No sweat. You did put the boost lines back to stock configuration when updating to v2, right. Just checking. If so, just drop the User TQ numbers to 89% and re-check it in a week or so (after full adaptation).

Yup, changed the boost lines back to stock. I follow directions well I guess I'll go to 89 to be safe for the next week. So I'm definitely getting the same power as other people at 15psi though regardless of the torque value setting, right?

Also, is it normal to be getting peak boost below 5k RPM? I thought peak boost was at 5500?

If you log a run through the gears, you'll get peak boost a bit early. This is why we suggest dialing the boost during a 3rd gear pull from low rpm to redline.

I thought we were supposed to do a 2nd/3rd pull? That's what I was doing. Could this also cause the higher boost?

Also, just wanted confirmation from you Shiv, I'm definitely getting the same power as other people at 15psi though regardless of the torque value setting, right?
