Central Locking Problem - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I noticed that the door locks do not activate after moving off from a stop. Anyone else have experience or solution for this?

2006 330 6 speed Electric Red
Carbon Fiber spoiler
Rear factory Spoiler

You have to set it using your computer. It locks the car after 8mph. Read ur manual and it'll tell u what to do.

My S.A. told me it locks at 2.5 mph

My car does not have idrive - can you set the autolock using the BC?

Yes, I don't have it either. I took my manual out to my car and just played with options for awhile. My sales person said it locks at 8mph and it seemd to be at that speed it does lock. BMW uses symbols for everything since it covers all languages.

Yes... Post-Sept. builds can set this option through the BC. My doors auto-lock at about 3-5 MPH. This is described in the manual. Let me know if you need the exact sequence.
